Melting Snowmen...

I still cannot believe that I haven't posted the rest of the pictures from Minnesota. I am very far behind, but I try to keep up with what is going on now, because if I don't I will probably never get the pictures up. Anyway...here are some pictures from last weekend.

Lookin' Cool (or kind of like a fly!)

Dad kept putting on different sunglasses on him.

 Matching fellas

Playing in the play area at the mall. He loved sitting in this little spot. This other boy would come over and kind of nudge Cohen out of there. Cohen would patiently wait until the boy was done, and then would go back and sit in there. He is just the sweetest...hopefully it isn't just a phase! :)

I can't remember what Dan was doing, but Cohen was just crackin' up!

After this, Dan went to get something from Caribou Coffee and Cohen and I were standing around and peeking at Santa. Santa didn't have any children there to see him, so he came over and said hi to Cohen. Cohen loved touching his beard and his soft coat and even gave Santa a high five!

Daddy shared his Gingerbread with Cohen. They both loved it.

Picking out a candy cane at Target...

...walking around the store with it...

...and, of course, using it as a cane...duh!

Playing with his new Seasme Street toys from Great Aunty Heidi

He kept putting Ernie in the scrapbook and trying to squish him in there.

Finally, got him to wear his antlers long enough to take a picture.
Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Lien!

 Wrestling with Dad

Have I told you how much Cohen loves baths? He squeals with excitement when he knows its bath time, and as you can see, he tries to climb in the tub all by himself.

Bahahaha! Looks like an "Ooops...I pooped in the tub" kind of face.
(Thankfully, he hasn't done that in a while!)

So we had the annual "Cookie Bake Off" at work yesterday. Any Dessert can be entered. Team Jonas has won something every year.  Granted one year it was only Team Jonas that entered..but still, when it comes to desserts we are Dan is good. Haha. Dan and I usually each make something. This year Dan's idea were these fun melting snowmen cookies. We had lots of fun making them together! I had several ideas for my recipe, but Dan, the sweets man, denied all of them. He searched on his new favorite website "Pintrest" and found a Caramel Apple Cheesecake recipe. Yum..perfect! I was so excited about these. After a little bit of a stressful venture in the kitchen they turned out great.

So the results... Dan won the overall best cookie award (best looking and tasting) and I won the best tasting award! Team Jonas does it again...even though there were 4 entries this year and 3 won prizes...

Katie

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And a special Happy 1st Thanksgiving to our sweet Cohen! We are so thankful for our family, friends and all we have been blessed with.

Eating the "corn dish". He approved!

 So Handsome!

Waiting for Ade to come inside...

...so he can run from her!

 "Save me mom!"
She's not as big as Cohen yet, but she's getting close!

Happy Thanksgiving!

11 Months

One more month until our baby turns 1! I can't believe he is 11 months old today. Cohen is an awesome little guy and we just love him to pieces. He is learning so many new things and always makes us laugh.

Here's some info...

He is awesome. (Dan's input to this post)

He has 9 teeth! He has one bottom molar that has come through and the other one is on its way.

He has mastered walking

He still loves when we brush his teeth

He loves clapping, mimicking mom and dad and his favorite phrase to say is  "uh oh"

Yesterday, he didn't want to leave daycare (I didn't think it would start this soon! He was having a such a great time playing)

Today his daycare sheet said, "Enjoyed reaching for bubbles and sliding on the wet mat, looking in the mirror at himself and saying, 'no'. Pushing around boxes and pushing trucks in the classroom." It made me smile! And I'm not sure what the "wet mat" is?

He gets so excited when we start getting his bath ready. Seriously...its cute.

He will carry around an item, usually something random, and get mad if we take it away. Favorite "items" this week include: Mom and Dad's sunglasses, a ziplock baggie, mom's hair clip, and a water bottle cap.

Not much has really changed this month...not that I can think of anyway. He still goes to bed around the same times, eats the same things and is still just amazing.

Picture time!

Carrying around sunglasses

Don't let him fool you...he loves the dust buster until it is turned on, then he gets scared.

So cute..even when he cries. (see his molar, by the way) Anyway, he doesn't cry much at all...only when something terrible happens....
...like when someone takes away his water bottle cap. :) He threw a fit. He was trying to put it in his mouth so Dan and I took it away to which he busted out in tears.  We gave it back, and he was just fine.

Sharing his water bottle cap with Daddy....just for a second and then he wanted it back.
We are always trying to work on sharing!

Yes...got it!

 Handsome Little Guy

Holding the umbrella during our walk into our apartment. It has been raining for the past two days..we're ready for some sunshine!

Doesn't he look big...?

He's also has another new talent....spinning in circles...pretty funny....here are a couple videos...

And just another video of Cohen...sometimes he goes to bed kind of late, because Mom and Dad just want to play with him... :)

Katie
