20 Months

20 Months! :)

Cohen is such a smart and fun little boy. He is growing up so much and we are loving every minute of it. He is starting to understand and listen to us more and communicate with us better.
He wears mostly 24 month/ 2t shirts and 18 month shorts/pants
I am happy to say that he is finally consistently calling me MOMMY! And I absolutely love it.
He loves playing with trucks and cars and loves looking for them when we are riding in the car. Truck! Car! Bus!
He has been obsessed with the movie, "Monster's Inc." Seriously! It was on TV one night so we watched it. He asks to watch it daily. He calls it, "owski" because the character's name, as you should know, is Mike Wazowski! Cohen knows what parts are coming up and will even say some of the lines! Cracks us up!
He is really good at telling us what he wants, and we understand him for the most part.

He still likes to say, "no" and has also learned "stop." He will say "stop it" when he doesn't want us to do something. He picked that one up from us.

He is really getting better at saying, "thank you" without prompting. The concierge at our apartment will always hold the door for us when we walk inside and Cohen will stroll on in and say, "thank you." It is just the sweetest thing. He'll also usually  say it when Dan or I give hand him something.

He loves Ms. Hannah at his daycare. We pull up to daycare, and he says, "Hannah!" and when we leave most of the way home he will say, "bye bye Hannah" :)

Cohen doesn't like getting in the bath, but once he's in there he doesn't want to get out...of course, right!?

He is so good meeting new people and learning their names

He is just the sweetest and we absolutely love him to pieces!

Here are some pictures...

Playing trains with Dad

Thanks Uncle Tom for this train toy!

He wanted to bring Mike and Sully down to the car

Playing in the pool with Daddy

Seriously.. I LOVE these two SO MUCH!

Cohen was intrigued by the water falling off his trunks

Checking out his shadow? I'm not sure!

Every time we sit on the edge of the pool he will come push us in. He's been doing it all summer!

 Buzz Lightyear Jammies!

 Watching "owski"

Cohen still loves riding the trains at the mall.

Love this picture...I wish is wasn't blurry! :(

 Woody jammies!
So we were at a toy store and we let Cohen pick out any car/truck that he wanted. He picked out the mail truck! haha. There were lots of other ones but he insisted on the mail truck. Just thought it was weird, but he loves it.

Little buddy tuckered out after the pool. He fell asleep in our bed and we walked in to find him like this. Still sound asleep.

And now for lots of videos!
We have trained Cohen to walk down the hallway and push the elevator button! The only problem now is that he is tall enough to reach the up button when we are trying to go down.
 :)

Here is a video while we were at our work. We were waiting for Dan's brother to get into town. Cohen was "talking" on the phone and then ventured over to Dan's cousin, Andy's, office.

Talking on the phone to my mom. The only thing that I recognize him saying is "miss you" and "bye bye." I think it's funny that he knows how to hang up on her too. I did NOT teach him that!

Owski! Watching Monster's Inc.

Cohen loves the opening scene of Monster's, Inc.

I was tyring to get him to say "Yee-haw" like a cowboy...instead he sounds like a donkey...ha

Reading a book...

Rockin' out with his Elmo guitar

Singing the Elmo song with his guitar! He does so good!
the song goes something like this:
Lalalalala Elmo's world
Lalalalala Elmo's world
Elmo loves his goldfish
his crayons too
That's Elmo's world.

In the video Cohen says the lala parts and then if you listen closely he says, "world" "goldfish" and "too"
He is learning some other songs too! Such a smart little bugger!

That's all for now!

20 Weeks

I haven't talked much about my second little boy, but all is going well! I am halfway there today! I am feeling him move around, but no big kicks yet. We are still working on a name but have one that we are leaning towards. You all will find out in just 20 weeks! Unless you can get Cohen to tell you! :) Dan turned down most of my name ideas, but said we could use them for the next baby. I said, "what? You'll feel bad if we have another boy that I can name him whatever I want?" Haha.

Here are some pictures...These are from when he was 13 weeks. I never posted them, but I love that he looks like he is lounging!

Me, Cohen and his little bro

Little buddy at 18 weeks

His first pair of shoes. For $2 we couldn't resist. Poor Cohen wanted to wear them today! :)

Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom

Our last full day in Florida we went to Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom. Our first stop was to get Toy Story Mania fast passes and then to get in line to meet Buzz and Woody!

Cohen and Mommy waiting in line

Although Cohen doesn't look too excited in this picture, he was really excited when we were walking up to meet them!
Then we went to Disney Junior Live where Cohen saw the characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Handy Manny and Little Einsteins on the stage. He had a pretty good time!

Cohen and Dan's friend, Lauren. Lauren and Dan trained at their jobs together when they started their internships at Disney. She is just the sweetest!

Mickey and his friends on the stage

In awe...

Jake and the Neverland Pirates

Jake

Cohen catching the "gold doubloons" that are falling from up above

And at the end all these ribbons fell from above. Cohen had lots of fun at the show!

Meeting Mickey!

About to give Mickey a kiss

Pooh!

Eating a snack while Mom waits in line.

High fives for Frozone and Mr. Incredible!

And a fist pump!

Getting a Mickey's Premium ice cream!

Like father....

...like son!

More Dad?? Cohen's like a little puppy!

Toy Story Mania...can't remember who won ;)

Poor Cohen squished in the middle!

Then it was off to Magic Kingdom!

About to get in line for the Winnie the Pooh ride, but taking a stop in Pooh's house first!

I was being sneaky and I scared him. Haha!

Climbing through the window...kept him entertained for awhile.

Disney is starting to make their lines more interactive and entertaining for kids. I'm not sure what took them so long to figure that out, but it is great. Cohen was able to play most of the way through the line!

On the ride...typical Cohen ride face

They re-did the Dumbo ride since we were last there. They now have two separate rides, one for fast-pass and then the regular stand by ride. In the stand by line they have an interactive area where kids can play while they wait for their turn to ride. How cool is that? We didn't get to go in there because we were in the fast pass line, but it sounds pretty cool. Check it out here.

While on the ride we got a better view of the "new fantasyland" that they are doing. Pretty excited for that to be done!

Dad and Cohen on the ride

Haha...Cohen.

Then we went on the train from Fantasyland to Frontierland. I wish Cohen looked like he was enjoying himself in one of these pictures! He really did like it!

We found a little play area by Splash Mountain. Perfect for Cohen and Mom and Dad could take a break!

There's a smile!

High Five for Mouse!

Meeting Mickey and Minnie. Cohen fell in love with Minnie while we were there!

Kisses for Minnie

And kisses for Cohen! He was a happy little guy!

Taking a break and eating some yogurt! Blackberry in...

Blackberry out...

Meeting some princesses. First up was Rapunzel!

All the princesses that we met were really chatty, which was fun!

Ariel. We talked about fish. haha

And Cinderella..they talked about wearing the same color :)

But Cohen was weirded out by her gloves.

They also talked about a lot of other things!

Then Cohen found BUBBLES!

He was running around like crazy!

We were waiting for Lauren to call us so we could meet up with her again and Cohen would say, "be right back" and then just walk away. Um no! In the middle of Magic Kingdom? Seriously, this kid is just too much sometimes. haha! Anyway, we were waiting for Lauren and we look over and she is sitting on the curb ten feet away from us frantically digging through her backpack looking for her phone. What are the odds?! And it's a good thing because she never did find her phone that night!

Mom and Cohen on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority while everyone else went on Space Mountain. My little cuddle bug!

Waiting for fireworks!

None of my pictures turned out..I only took 3 though.

We had to buy Cohen a Minnie to go with his Mickey! He was excited when he woke up to find them both sitting there! :) Such a great (and exhausting!) day!
