Fall Festival and Pumpkin Carving

Last weekend we headed to a fall festival to pick out some pumpkins and have a little fun! They didn't have a pumpkin patch but just an area to pick out pre-picked pumpkins. They had a lot of activities, but most of the cost $3-5 and weren't really worth to do. Regardless, we had fun picking out pumpkins and checking out the free stuff.

Taking a first look at some pumpkins

Sweet Kemp got this pumpkin when we first got there and held onto it for most of our afternoon.

Such a happy little guy!

Some alpacas. The brown guy was running around making a noise that sounded like he was laughing. It was pretty funny.

 Checking out the chickens

Cohen liked the hay bale maze was and it was free!

Haha...wondering why his face looks like this and he is holding his head?

On his first try through the tunnel he didn't duck down far enough and ran right into it!

Love this picture of Dan and Kemp waiting for us to get out of the maze!

Bam! Hit his head again! HAHA

Made it out...

...and had this sweet boy there to greet us. :)

Love my boys!

All Cohen wanted was this little pumpkin that he was holding. We had to convince him to also pick out one that was a little bit bigger so we could carve it.

Got our pumpkins and ready to go!

Pure excitement. I am not really sure what he was expecting in there... ha

Scooping out the junk. He didn't want to touch it and I ended up doing most of it, but oh well!

All done! I carved out Merida from Brave (Cohen picked it out!), Cohen picked out the shapes for me to carve out in his pumpkin face and Dan carved Hades from Hercules.

All Cohen wants to do is blow out the candles!

Guess he'll be ready to blow out the candles on his birthday! :)

Happy Halloween!!

Florida Day 6: Animal Kingdom again!

Well, I failed at my goal of getting our Disneyworld trip posted before we went to Disneyland. Which either means life is super busy or we go to Disney too much ;)

Anyway, here is day 6 of our Disneyworld trip which was our second day to Animal Kingdom!
Up early to eat some french toast!

We had breakfast reservations that morning, but had a little time to catch some animals like this big 'ol hippo!
...and a lounging meerkat.

..I guess the lounging meerkat isn't worried becuase he has this guy looking out for him!

It must have just been a lazy day!

One of our favorite things to do in Disneyworld is eat at the Character breakfast at the Tusker House. Fun, delicious and if you make a late morning reservation you can catch some lunch foods as well ;)

Hugs for Goofy! Cohen's favorite!

Daisy!

Walking around in the parade with our instruments

Kempton and Dan in the parade

I was happy that I got to hold the instrument and be in the parade ;)

Happy to not be in the parade!

Not sure what we are looking at or watching, but it must be good, right?

I would love to not post this picture of me, but Cohen looks too excited and cute not to.

Perhaps he saw that Mickey was on his way!

I love this picture because it is so real. Sometimes it takes us a little time to prepare for a picture with a character, but we eventually get everything together...

...and Ta-Da!

After breakfast we headed to the safari...
Love this girl!

Someone is having way too much fun!

I usually take so many pictures on the safari, but decided to tone it down a little bit this time I hardly ever do anything with the pictures anyway! After the safari we took the train up to Rafiki's planet watch.

So sweet!

Cohen just loves at animals, which makes me happy!

Mandy and Hannah took Cohen to the petting zoo area while we waited in line to meet Rafiki

Meeting Rafiki from Lion King

While there I got a chance to catch up with some former co-workers! So fun to see them when we go there!
Waiting so patiently for the parade

So interested in everything that is going on around him

Cohen absolutely loves parades, even though he may not show it. He will just stare and take it all in and then talk (and talk and talk) about it afterwards.

We had such a fun day at Animal Kingdom, but it was HOT! We did a few other things not posted on here, but then headed back to go to the pool

Cohen preferred to be out of the pool rather than swimming in it, but hey, whatever makes him happy!

Wonder why these two are high-fiving?

Looked like they cooked up a little plan to dump some water on Tyson! LOVE it!

Meanwhile, sweet cheeks is just hanging out. Enjoying life.

And he's finally in the pool!

Thanks to Hannah for swimming with him in the pool so I didn't have to!

After much deliberation we decided to venture to Margaritaville for some dinner.

Cohen was so overtired and crazy, which you'll see in videos below. He eventually crashed at the restaurant.

And here are some videos of Cohen dancing!

Another long and wonderful day!!
