Get Funky!

Last night Cohen was singing the "Cha Cha Slide." He had to have learned it at daycare because we don't listen to it at home or in the car. He kept saying, "get funky...funky...funky..." Except that it "n" sounds more like a "c" which of course Kempton was repeating as well! Yikes!!

Excuse our messy room...but I couldn't miss sharing their dance skills again. Enjoy!

You have to click on the link to watch it. It doesn't let me upload it since the song is copyrighted...!

Kempton: 2 Years Old!

Kempton is 2!

Height: 34.5inches (52 percentile)
Weight: 26lbs (35th Percentile)

He wears 2t shirts and 18-24month pants

His favorite food is peanut butter! He also likes chicken nuggets, yogurt, fruit and green beans. He recently just started eating chips and likes those too although we don't really buy them.

He still will only drink milk or water, which is fine! We don't offer him juice often, but when we do he doesn't want it.

He knows all of his colors, can count to 10, and say his ABCs.

Kemp likes to watch Mickey Mouse, Elmo, Sofia the First, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Ninja Turtles and Paw Patrol (he especially loves Rubble from Paw Patrol)

He favorite movie is still Up, but he also really likes Big Hero 6, Toy Story movies, Cars and Frozen.

He still does everything Cohen does!

He loves to give slobbery kisses

When putting on Kemp's shirt when it is on his head, before it's pulled down he will say, "where Kempy go?" then I will say, "where did Kempy go?" and he usually will respond with, "I don't know!"

He is stubborn and will often walk away mad and find somewhere by himself to pout. At that point, Cohen finds it funny and calls him Mr. Angry guy.

He talks a lot now and is very animated. We sometimes have a trouble understanding what he is saying and I'm sure others who don't know him well do not have a clue what he is saying!

Here are some pictures....

The morning of his 2nd birthday!

He likes to wear hats
Kemp loves to color and paint

Kempton loves to play with playdoh!

When we went to Disney a few weeks ago he was scared of the characters on day one, but warmed up to them on day 2 and loved them the rest of the trip!

He even was brave enough to meet some characters by himself while Cohen went on the big kid rides.
He's just a goofball!

:)

He loved meeting Jessie from Toy Story.

I think he was in awe meeting Buzz Lightyear!

Waiting for the parade...

Which he absolutely loved! He waved and said "hi" to all of the characters!

Kemp still takes naps and usually cannot make it through the day without one. At Disney he would often fall asleep at like 6 or 7pm and then wake up when we were getting back to our hotel around 10... and the above picture is what that looks like! Wide awake!
And then when we got back to our room...he would just watch some TV while we would get ready for bed.
He eventually fell asleep... sometimes after we did!

That smile!

Kempy and his Uncle Tom

Kempton LOVED the teacups! I think its his favorite ride at Disney World. Either that or Dumbo :)

Kempton was pumped to meet Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates!

He talked about this kiss from Princess Sofia for days! He was smitten!

Kemp also love bubbles! He was chasing them in the picture above!

Riding the Triceratops Spin at Animal Kingdom

He and Cohen take after their dad when it comes to treats!

Watching the parade again!

Still loves the Piggy bank area at Epcot!

Some videos:

I am not sure if I ever posted this one, but if I did you get to enjoy it again....Kemp working on his wizard skills with Cohen's Harry Potter wand.

Kempton had  hard time understanding that Cohen's birthday was done and that it was his birthday! I think he finally got it by the end of the day.

Still working on his golfing skills...

...and football skills.. ( I just love his laugh!)

..and his pirate sword fighting skills!

And of course his ABCs

Seriously love this little guy so much, even if he throws a tantrum at the airport and falls asleep on the floor! He is funny, sweet and so full of life!!

Katie
