Cohen and Kempton Update!

Here's the deal..I couldn't really fit any more picture on our/Dan''s computer so I finally bought myself a new computer! Hoping that helps me keep this updated a little more! For now, here is an update on the boys!

I asked them their favorites. I put down exactly what they said with my thoughts on it in parentheses.  :)

Food: Pancakes (The ones from Grumps)
Drink: Lemonade (which he never really drinks! haha! He really loves Milk)

Character at Disney World: Mickey Mouse
Ride at Disney World: Expedition Everest (He was tall enough to ride this on our last trip and loved it!)
Place to visit: Grammy's house
Thing to do: Play..... with cars
Animal:Lion

Kempton's Favorites

Color: Red ( I really think its blue, but oh well!)
Movie: Ironman (He likes it, but I didn't think it was his favorite)
Show: Sofia the First
Food: Chicken (Uh..no, it's probably applesauce! It's a struggle to get him to eat meat, although he has been doing better lately!)
Drink: Milk
Treat: Chocolate
Team: Baseball Dodgers
Character at Disney World:Mickey
Ride at Disney World: Epcot (Not a ride...but I think his favorite was the Teacups or Goofy's Barnstormer, which is a little rollercoaster)
Place to visit: Epcot
Thing to do: I dunno
Animal:  Poo Poo Rhino (what?? haha)

Both of the boys are loving summer and playing outside. They love going to the park, the pool and playing baseball outside.

We are working on potty training Kempton. He is doing pretty well at home, but not so well at daycare. Hopefully we'll make more progress next week!

They both love wearing Ninja Turtles and Avengers costumes and pretending to be them, including wrestling and "fighting" with their weapons. Eek!

They think going to get donuts is one of the best things ever and they like to sip on mom's iced coffee.

Cohen often bribes Kemp. For example, "Kemp if you help me I will give you a cookie" However, he doesn't even HAVE a cookie to give him!

Cohen has a gap in his front teeth that he constantly calls a "cap"

Cohen is getting better on his swimming and started putting his face in the water last weekend, which is a big step for him!

Kempton loves singing and laughing! He is a stubborn passionate little guy with very little patience to wait. He gets very excited about a lot of things!

Kemp gets mad when he loses. They boys will often race into the house from the car and Kempton runs and laughs until Cohen passes him and then Kemp gets mad, stops and pouts.

Cohen is really good at sharing with Kempton even though he often gets frustrated that Kemp always wants what he is playing with.

They love music and musicals! They are mostly recently obsessed with Descendents on Disney Channel. They also love it because they love Disney Villains!

They both love seeing puppies around the neighborhood

They love animals and going to the zoo.

Kempton is talking in sentence now and we understand most of what he says!

Cohen is getting better at writing, rhyming and working on learning letter sounds. He is learning a lot of new things every day.

Cohen is shy and basically afraid of nearly everything and Kemp is more outgoing! We went to Disney, Kemp walked up to most of the characters before Cohen did. Cohen is not afraid of rides though and Kemp is afraid of big toilets!

Cohen at the park with his swords in the back of his shirt.

"Look at me!" - Kemp
Kemp tries to do everything Cohen does. He is really good at climbing the rock wall at the little park.

Making a tunnel for the monorail!

Haha!

Oops!

Middle of summer and they put on hats and mittens. I think they were pretending to play hockey (with golf clubs!)

Cohen made a camera at daycare...haha!

Dan had to work late one day so I took the kids to Panera Bread for dinner. They ate all their mac and cheese so they could get a cookie!

Kempy picked this one...Cohen picked out an M&M one

Kemp loves spoonfuls of peanut butter. One morning Dan saw him sitting there like this. The peanut butter had fallen of the spoon and was sitting on his hand. We have no idea how long he was sitting like that.

The boys love playing with these magnetic shapes from Great Aunt Brigitte! This day Kemp kept asking me to make him a ball so he could (instantly) instantly break it!

The other night they boys spent a couple hours taking to GG and Grandpa. Cohen especially likes seeing his Daddy's old Ninja Turtles that are still at GG and Grandpa's house and then, of course showing them all of his toys!

Kempton had to join in as well!

And then Cohen talked to Cooper so he had to get his dalmatian blanket!

The other morning I gave the boys some containers, water and food coloring to play with on the deck. It kept them entertained for quite awhile while we rearranged the living room! At one point when I went out there Kemp's shorts were wet. I asked him if he went potty in his shorts or if he just spilled water on his shorts. He tried to tell me it was just water, but it definitely was pee! Sneaky little guy!

Checking out the Halloween (already??) decorations!

They recently built a Steak N Shake near us, which is the first in Maryland. They always have a very long line, but it finally died down a bit so we went there last weekend. We let Cohen pick out his own milkshake and he chose M & M. He loved it! Kemp was sleeping and would NOT get up!

Milkshakes with my buddy!

Kempton...sweet buddy! He helped me make the entire dinner one night! He wanted to help do everything. Sometimes I had to make things up for him to do while I did some things. For instance, I had him break up an uncooked noodle and put each little piece in the empty egg carton container. It kept him busy so I could do other things!

He put on 4 tomatoes on each noodle...
..sprinkled on an excessive amount of cheese...

..sprinkled on the basil...
...(I rolled up the noodles) and then he put the sauce on!

He even helped clean up!!

Jumping over a puddle!
Posing like the mannequins and asking me to take a picture!

So that's a little update on the boys. I will post some videos soon as well!

These boys are growing and changing so much and I love watching every second. Yes, they can be stubborn, cranky and a down right pain in the butt at times, but I still love them to pieces and wouldn't trade them for anything!

Love,
Katie
