Disney Day 1: EPCOT (part 2)

One of my favorite things from our time at Disney was when we got to meet Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy..all at the same time...just us! They have this special thing if you  have a Disney Visa Reward card. It is only at EPCOT during a certain time of the day. I have known about it the last few times we were there, but we never checked it out. We decided to this time and I'm glad that we did. We went in a room by ourselves and the characters played with Cohen for a bit. We took a picture as a family, and then Cohen took pictures by himself with all three of them. It was nice to not have anyone rushing us along.  I thought it was pretty neat! 

 Wooo...that was exhausting! Time for a quick nap!

His energy is back for some quick pictures before we head to my birthday dinner!

 I picked Bahama Breeze for my birthday dinner! It was so good and a beautiful night!

I had a great birthday! Thank you to my wonderful husband and to his parents for making my day special! Thank you, Cohen, too! My first birthday as a Mommy! I'm so thankful to have that sweet little boy in my life! Thank you to all those who called, texted, sent pictures of themselves with "Happy Birthday" signs (haha my mom and dad!) and sent messages on Facebook! Love you all!

Disney Day 1: EPCOT (part 1)

Our first day at Walt Disney World, and my birthday :), was spent at EPCOT.

We got there shortly after they opened and headed straight to the Character Spot. This is, in my opinion, the best place to meet characters. You get in ONE line and then get to meet Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald and Goofy. Plus, it is air-conditioned. And it is every better when you get there and there is absolutely no line, which is what happened to us! First up..the big cheese! Cohen loved touching Mickey's nose.

 Cohen couldn't take his eyes off Pluto.  He liked touching his whiskers!

What's New with Cohen?

Just wanted to share a little update. We went out to dinner tonight, and then ran some errands. We figured that Cohen would fall asleep at some point, but he decided to when we were almost home. (Just like his Daddy did when he was little) It was way past his bedtime, so I figured that I could put him in his crib, and he would stay asleep or fall right back to sleep if he happened to wake up. This has been done before. No  big deal.  Well, Cohen had plans of his own. We went to check on him to find this.....

 I had a proud Mommy moment. He went from laying on his back to eventually sitting up! This is a first for Cohen. We put him back down and he kept getting up. He didn't cry or fuss, but just kind of sat there and played!

 Such a sweetie!

 Uh oh. I think we need to lower the crib! So proud of him though!

On another note..here is a picture of his two top teeth. He is also getting another one on the top! Seriously, he is growing up so fast. 

And just for fun...a picture of Dan and Cohen that I took tonight! So sweet! Love them both so much!

We're baaaaaaaaaaaaack!
