Weekend Update

We had a pretty low key weekend. The weather was kind of rainy so we didn't get to go to the pool.  We just ran some errands and played!

This is how the weekend started out! Haha. This will never get old to me!

Peek! Cohen is pulling himself up on everything...coffee table, couch, laundry basket, box of diapers, his crib, etc. He is pretty good at it, but still is wobbly at times. Sometimes he is even easing himself down and gently sitting down.

 Talking to Daddy

 Yankees? Number one?

Cohen had a little food on his face so he decided to clean it off himself. How nice!

How cool is this picture? I took it through a paper towel tube. I was surprised that it turned out.

And ending the weekend with Ab Crunches.

Cocoa Beach Eatin'

When Dan and I did our internships at Disney we would often go see my Aunt and Uncle at their condo in the Port Canaveral/ Cocoa Beach area. They have introduced us to some amazing restaurants. They are not 5 star, fancy places, but they are exactly what we love. Casual, beachy, tropical drinks, sitting outside, and great food!

First up...

Sunset Waterfront Cafe and Bar. I love the view at this place. We always try to set out on the dock, with a view of the river. Although we didn't see any this trip, we usually see dolphins out there swimming.

Up Next..Rusty's Seafood and Oyster Bar. They have some amazing Gorgonzola Cheese bread and amazing key lime pie! Cohen seems to like the place, don't ya think?

Ohhh...Dad...just one sip....please!

Attacking Hugging Mom... :)

The Key Lime Pie. Doesn't it look just perfect?

Cohen and I checking out the view. Rusty's is right on the water where the cruise ships go out. We didn't see any ships while we were eating, but we did see some fish in the water. :)

Right down the street from Rusty's is Grills Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar.

My favorite part about this restaurant is all the animals that you have a chance to see. This time we saw pelicans...

dolphins...

turtles.... and a manatee, but I didn't get a picture of the manatee.

Cohen always seemed so happy in these restaurants!

When we were sitting at Grills we were able to see a cruise ship!

Hugs for Dad!

Sweet little guy

These guys are Dan's favorite...hehe

I don't have many pictures from here, but I'm sure Dan will think that the one below is the only one that you need. The Fish Tacos. Dan and his Dad got these and LOVED them.

MMM....some good eatin'! If you are ever in the Cocoa Beach area stop and check out one of these places.

Ridin' with Cohen

I have successfully figured out how to upload a video to YouTube and then put it on the blog! I can put on longer videos and they are more clear! A gold star for me! :) Anyway, the videos below were taken yesterday evening on our way home from work. I was sitting in the front and was trying to videotape Cohen in the back. He keeps doing this thing with his hand that I wanted to get on video, and of course stopped doing it as soon as I started recording, but it turned out to be a pretty funny video anyway!

I was trying to take another video and Cohen decide that he could do a better job so he grabbed the camera. It was going ok, until he decided to eat the camera. :)

Splish Splash!

Mom wasn't kidding when she said that I loved the pool! Check out this video of me.

This Past Weekend

I am still trying to get the rest of the pictures from our trip to Florida organized, so I thought I would just post some random pictures from this weekend. Enjoy!

 Such a happy little guy!

This kid is on the go! And making funny faces while he's at it! And what's up with that hair?!

 Hangin' out with Dad!

 Cuddling with Dad!

And, of course, eating Dad's shorts. Really, kid?

We went to the pool both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Again we had a blast! Cohen loved when Dan would lift him up and then....

Gently drop him back in the water.

We bought Cohen a toy. Finally! (When he likes everything that isn't a toy more than his toys, it's hard to spend money on a toy) We thought that it would be something he could grow into. He likes hitting all the buttons now and being able to stand up with his new "Space Vehicle."

And a T-Rex. For Dan or Cohen?! :) He roars, stomps his feet and swings his tail. Dan was playing with it in the store for quite a while and insisted on buying it...

He still enjoys playing with his jumper. He just prefers to stand and play with it rather than be in it!

He looks like a giant here!

Just the cutest little boy..even when he's a little sad! :)

See my belly, Dad?

I don't even know...it just makes me smile!

Look at our little McDonalds employee! haha! This outfit is too cute.

This is what the hat is really suppose to look like. Dad Someone put the hat on upside-down at first.

Too bad the picture is dark. So handsome!

Cheese!

Our little turtle! Ha...riiiiiiiiight! Cohen is quite speedy!
