Animal Kingdom and Epcot

We were so excited to go to Disney again. Cohen went when he was 6 1/2 months old so going a year later would be a lot different. We were very thankful for our friends who still work there and were able to get us in for free. We were only going to go to the Disney Parks two days, so we figured we would just go to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom, but we ended up going to all 4 parks in those two days. Our first day started out at Animal Kingdom with a character breakfast buffet at the Tusker House.

Us with Donald Duck

At this breakfast the characters walk around from table to table and when they come to your table you can get a picture with them. Cohen waiting patiently to meet Goofy!

Cohen, Dan, Goofy and Me

Cohen, Dan and Daisy.

Right after Cohen gave Daisy a kiss. What a sweetie!

Haha!

Mouse! One good thing about this is that he can see the character coming so we build up the excitement for him! He was especially excited to see Mickey. (And the other good thing was the food!)

:)

Love my buddy so much!

Mommy and Cohen on the safari

He seemed to enjoy the safari, but I'm not sure how well he saw all the animals.

Rhino

Giraffe

After the safari we went to the "Finding Nemo" show. Cohen enjoyed it until he fell asleep!

Dan and his first (for this trip) Mickey's Premium

Dan and Cohen at the "Lion King" show. It was so nice to go into the air conditioned shows!

See the big mark on his forehead? Little buddy fell and hit his head on a rock! He was ok though!

Then it was off to Epcot for a few rides and to see a few characters!

About to the ride the clamobiles at the Seas with Nemo. See the seagulls behind Cohen and Dan...if you've seen Nemo you'll know that they just sit there and say, "mine, mine, mine" Of course, Dan taught it to Cohen. :)

Here's a sideways video of it. The best one we could get. And then Cohen telling us at the end that he'll "be right back!"

Looking at some fish while we wait for Turtle Talk with Crush

Meeting Pooh and Tigger!

Checkin' out the ducks!

On the tram back to the car! We had a really fun day and got to do everything we wanted and even some things that we didn't think we would get a chance to do. Cohen wasn't ever really scared to meet the characters or go on a ride, but never really showed excitement either! He was excited in line, but then got a little shy when it was our turn to meet the character. Overall, he did an awesome job and was quite the trooper!

19 Months

19 Months! :)

Last month we went to his 18 month appointment and he was 33 inches (75th percentile) and 24lbs, 4oz (50th percentile).

He wears 18-24 month shirts and 18 month shorts/pants
Cohen still loves to eat fruits and veggies! He likes yogurt, oatmeal and applesauce and loves feeding himself. He still doesn't really like to eat meat, and often won't try new things. He will just flat out refuse. :(

Kiddo is still a talking machine! This month he started saying, "bye, bye (insert something here!)" Seriously, "bye, bye chair" "bye, bye car"...other things he says bye bye to include...table, daddy, mommy, truck, train and lots more. Anytime he leaves the room, it is "bye, bye..." or "be right back....." I love when he says, "be right back, daddy!" It is just the sweetest thing. He also just learned, "come back, Daddy!" (He still hardly ever says, "Mommy." I am also usually known as "daddy")

He also picked up saying, "Bless you" when someone sneezes!
New characters he can identify and say their names: Minnie, Dumbo, Perry (the platypus from Phineas and Ferb)
While still aren't pushing potty training yet, but he randomly said "potty" one day so I put him on the potty and he went! Like it was no big deal. He also went after the bath one day, but generally says no if I ask him if he needs to go.
He loves looking at the things around him and particularly likes birds, puppies, bikes, trucks, firetrucks, cars and trains.

He loves climbing on anything and everything, including stairs.

He is full of energy and can often be a handful. He listens pretty well, but will sometimes just pretend he doesn't hear us and wonder off or he'll say, "be right back" and just stroll away! I always go get him and keep him eye on him, but I wonder if he really would come walking back..?

I can't think of what else is new! Sorry!!

Most of my pictures from this month are going to put on their own posts so I don't have many for this one!

Daddy and Cohen on the train at the mall

Cohen was so excited to see Mommy on his way around. Daddy looks pretty excited too! :)

On our walk through the city today...Cohen had to stop at every set of stairs to climb up and then climb down!

Playing with trains at the bookstore.

Cohen is quite the photographer...he loves taking pictures and is getting better at it. Haha!

Cohen's picture

And one more from Cohen

Cohen loves playing with his cars, trucks and train and I guess his shoe was driving the truck this time!

And just a couple videos..

Cohen talking on the phone...

And Cohen after we watched Dumbo.
