Florida Day 6: Animal Kingdom again!

Well, I failed at my goal of getting our Disneyworld trip posted before we went to Disneyland. Which either means life is super busy or we go to Disney too much ;)

Anyway, here is day 6 of our Disneyworld trip which was our second day to Animal Kingdom!
Up early to eat some french toast!

We had breakfast reservations that morning, but had a little time to catch some animals like this big 'ol hippo!
...and a lounging meerkat.

..I guess the lounging meerkat isn't worried becuase he has this guy looking out for him!

It must have just been a lazy day!

One of our favorite things to do in Disneyworld is eat at the Character breakfast at the Tusker House. Fun, delicious and if you make a late morning reservation you can catch some lunch foods as well ;)

Hugs for Goofy! Cohen's favorite!

Daisy!

Walking around in the parade with our instruments

Kempton and Dan in the parade

I was happy that I got to hold the instrument and be in the parade ;)

Happy to not be in the parade!

Not sure what we are looking at or watching, but it must be good, right?

I would love to not post this picture of me, but Cohen looks too excited and cute not to.

Perhaps he saw that Mickey was on his way!

I love this picture because it is so real. Sometimes it takes us a little time to prepare for a picture with a character, but we eventually get everything together...

...and Ta-Da!

After breakfast we headed to the safari...
Love this girl!

Someone is having way too much fun!

I usually take so many pictures on the safari, but decided to tone it down a little bit this time I hardly ever do anything with the pictures anyway! After the safari we took the train up to Rafiki's planet watch.

So sweet!

Cohen just loves at animals, which makes me happy!

Mandy and Hannah took Cohen to the petting zoo area while we waited in line to meet Rafiki

Meeting Rafiki from Lion King

While there I got a chance to catch up with some former co-workers! So fun to see them when we go there!
Waiting so patiently for the parade

So interested in everything that is going on around him

Cohen absolutely loves parades, even though he may not show it. He will just stare and take it all in and then talk (and talk and talk) about it afterwards.

We had such a fun day at Animal Kingdom, but it was HOT! We did a few other things not posted on here, but then headed back to go to the pool

Cohen preferred to be out of the pool rather than swimming in it, but hey, whatever makes him happy!

Wonder why these two are high-fiving?

Looked like they cooked up a little plan to dump some water on Tyson! LOVE it!

Meanwhile, sweet cheeks is just hanging out. Enjoying life.

And he's finally in the pool!

Thanks to Hannah for swimming with him in the pool so I didn't have to!

After much deliberation we decided to venture to Margaritaville for some dinner.

Cohen was so overtired and crazy, which you'll see in videos below. He eventually crashed at the restaurant.

And here are some videos of Cohen dancing!

Another long and wonderful day!!

Kempton: 9.5 months

Kempton is 9 and a half months!

We just had his 9 month check up on the 14th and he seems to be right on track.

Height 28.5 inches (50th percentile)
Weight 19lbs 2 oz (40th Percentile)

Teeth: two bottom and the two top are poking through (finally!)

He is better at eating and likes toast, ravioli, green beans, peas and carrots. He still does ok eating baby food, but prefers to pick things up and feed himself.

He usually goes to bed around 8-8:30 and sleeps until 6-6:30. Lately he has been taking  one 40 minutes to an hour long nap at day care, but he will usually take a couple at home with us. He just doesn't sleep very well there, but he always seems to be in good spirits when we pick him up!

He can stand up on his own and loves to cruise or walk along furniture.

Kemp still wakes up happy, even when we have to wake him up.

He loves bath time, but is not of fan of getting dressed after the bath.

Kempton absolutely loves his brother. Cohen can always make him laugh and smile. Kemp is still taking Cohen's toys and bothering him, but that's what little bros do, right? :)

He rarely cries and usually has a good reason if he does.

Kemp is still calm, happy, go with the flow baby.

He loves to clap and usually does whenever he hears a song

Kemp has the sweetest laugh! We LOVE hearing it!

With our recent LONG vacation most of our pictures are from there so here are a some...

Swimming in Vegas

Kempton loves cruising around in the stroller and looking at everything!

Kempton loved the characters at Disneyland. He loved touching them and just watching them

Kempton love the little wading pool at our hotel in California

Always up for a good game of peek-a-boo

Hugs for Flik :)
Hanging out with mom, waiting for Cohen and Dad to get off a ride. Kemp was such a trooper!

Love this picture! He looks so grown up!

We did a couple character breakfasts while at Disneyland and Kempton loved when the character came to visit our table

Sweet buddy!

And a few pictures of the boys wrestling!

Got him!

 And a few videos!

Kempton and Cohen with Chip at a restaurant at Disneyland

And a video of the boys playing the other night. LOVE LOVE LOVE Kempton's laugh (and  yes, Cohen is crazy!)
