Standing Up!

Cohen has been standing on his own for a little bit throughout the day. I get so proud every time that he does it. :) Here is a short video!

First off, Cohen is really into exploring everything these days, so please don't judge our kitchen! Haha! I think that he is only still when he is sleeping! Here's a video of him playing and hanging out in the kitchen. I'm not sure what the move is when he lays down and backs up, but we thought it was pretty funny.

Friday Night Movies Starring Cohen!

I like the beginning of this video. When Cohen gets frustrated because he can't pick something up he just put his head down and tries to get it with his mouth. Other than that, there really isn't anything else going on in this video. Just sweet Cohen.

Grandma's Visit: Toys!

Here are a few more pictures from my Grandma's visit. She bought me some way cool new toys while she was here. Check them out....

My xylophone. I think my mom and dad play with it more than me ;)

And Grandma bought me a ball pit.

Grandma fits in it, too!

Thank you, Grandma for the toys. More importantly thank you for playing with me, cuddling with me and taking care of me while Mommy and Daddy went to work. I am so excited to see you again! I love you!

Cohen

Grandma's Visit: National Zoo

While my Mom was here we went to get jumbo slice pizza at Pizza Mart and headed to the National Zoo. It was a hot day, and by the end we were very tired, but we all had fun! My mom and I shared a slice of pizza, while Dan ate his own and the rest of ours. :)

Cooling off in the visitor's center.

He found more stairs to climb!

Lion Cubs!

There were 7 lion cubs! I could have sat there all day and watched them.

My mother. She insisting on pushing this stroller up the hill. She is a strong woman, and completely capable of doing it, but I felt bad about it! Dan carried Cohen so it wasn't as heavy, but still. She probably would have pushed me in the stroller if I had asked her!And the funny part is that she was cruising up the hill and Dan and I had to try to keep up. Turns out that she wanted to get the top so that she could rest while she waited for us....imagine her surprise when she turned around and we were right behind her. Haha!

9.11.01

2,977 victims lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
343 NYFD Firefighters
37 Police Officers
Approximately 3000 children lost a parent
I sat in my 11th Grade Trigonometry class as the events unfolded. At that point, I didn't really understand the magnitude of what was happening. I get it now. This day forever changed our country and our lives.

My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by the tragedy of 9/11. We will never forget.

Grandma's Visit: Sweets and Treats!

I dropped my mom off at the airport last night! I miss her a lot already. We had a great time while she was here. We went out to eat, to the zoo, played cards and just hung out. She is a wonderful person and always so thoughtful and caring. She is very easing going and is up for anything.

 Isn't she pretty!? :)

 Big Hugs for Grandma!

Getting a treat...I know that it's hard to see, but can you tell where we are!?

Grandma sharing her treat with Cohen

To say that he liked the treat is an understatement!

He loved it! More Grandma!!

Our treat! Georgetown Cupcakes. They were so  good! We had

Mint Cookies & Creme, Red Velvet,  Apple Cinnamon, Caramel Apple, Gluten Free Lava Fudge, PB Fudge. We split each one into 3 pieces so we could try each one. I loved the apple ones!!

On Monday we went to eat at one of our favorite restaurants...Bahama Breeze. I don't have many pictures but just a couple good ones. Haha!

Waiting to get a table...

 Like father, like son.

And Dessert! We don't usually get dessert when we go out to eat, but this one is a favorite! Yum Yum!

More pictures from my Mom's visit coming soon!
