Last Weekend Before Christmas!

Our Weekend...started off with Saturday morning swim lessons!

 He did a really great job swimming this weekend.

 Cohen hasn't tried opening any of the presents yet, but he is obsessed with sitting on this big box. Remember when he was obsessed with the little blue box...? Same idea again. He'll grab a toy and go sit on the box. Stand on the box...fall off the box...

 Haha...captured it perfectly!

 I bet if we tried to get him to sit on the box to take a nice picture with the tree that he wouldn't do it! What do you think? We'll try and let you know! :)

This afternoon Cohen and I went to our apartment's Christmas party. Dad stayed home to watch football. Dan didn't miss much besides a magician and some cookies! :)

 On our way back from the party...he's been doing this lately. Just busts out crying.  Big loud, pouty lip, open mouth cry.  It's kind of cute, but it is mostly unnecessary. The reason he was doing it in the picture? I carried him all the way back to the apartment in one arm and brought back a cupcake for Dad in the other hand. I had to put him down. My arm was burning. And then I got the big loud cry. I had to pick him up...I think he knew I would. :)

 And back on the box.

 He like puts it behind his shoulder or head.. I guess he thinks that is what we do?

 Oops..fell into the tree. He was stuck, and Dan had to go get him out. I was laughing too hard to help... ;)

 Too bad he has a big pile of drool on his shirt...

Cohen has been talking loudly so much lately...with his unwillingness to sit still and his loud voice, it is sure to be a fun flight to MN for Christmas! Here's a short video...

And in the video he is playing with shoe box lid. Yes...he tried to sit on it and squashed it. What is with him trying to sit on boxes? He played with it for about 20 minutes before he went to bed. Strange kid.

We also did a little bit of Christmas shopping and baked some cookies!

Dan and Tom's Birthday

Here are some pictures from Dan and Tom's birthday (October 7th!).  Tom was visiting so it was fun to spend a their birthday with both of them.

On their actual birthday, we went to their aunt, Heidi's, house. I can't remember what we had for dinner, but I do remember all the Georgetown Cupcakes they ordered! Mmmmm....

I didn't get many pictures on their actual birthdays besides these few, but I did get some when we celebrated the next night.

"More", Tree Decorating and Bath Time!

Life has been busy, but it is all positive things so I cannot complain. I have some pictures and videos to share.  One week until Cohen is 1!

The first video is of Cohen doing the sign for "more"...

And sometimes he wants another yogurt melt even though he has one..stuck to his nose. Haha. He had no idea that it was there.

Seriously? How can he not notice it.... It is huge! Haha!!!

He learned "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" at day care, and just loves dancing and"rowing"  to it and does a pretty good job at singing the "row, row, row" part. (And I know that we should probably get him out of his little tub. But, honestly, baths in a bathtub gross me out. I don't take baths, and think sitting in a bath tub is weird. I'm sure I'll get over it...eventually.)
