I feel like Cohen has grown up so much in the past few weeks! He talks so much and makes so many connections that constantly surprise me. We had his 2 year check-up on Friday and was such a ham for the doctor. I hate when you go there and we say that he can do all these things and then he doesn't do anything! This time he showed her what he can do which she was very impressed by. She was very impressed by all the sentences he can say and his jumping abilities!
Cohen is 35 inches tall and weighs 27.4 lbs. He is in the 70th percentile for height and 60th for weight.
He wears mostly 18-24 month pants and 24month, 2t or 3t shirts.
He loves Disney movies....I cant imagine why! :) His favorite at the moment are Lion King, Tangled, Beauty and the Beast and Brave.
He talks really well and we understand almost everything he says! The other day he was showing his pictures of him at daycare and he was saying "instruments" and I couldn't figure it out! Finally Dan figured out what he was saying! He said, "octopus" and we thought he was saying applesauce and "batman" sounds like bedpan. And the first time he said M&Ms we were quite confused! But for the most part we get it... eventually at least!
Speaking of M&Ms...this is how Cohen has been learning his colors. He has to say the color of the M&M before he eats it. He gets blue, green, orange, and brown right every time. He always seems to struggle with yellow and red!
He still loves playing with trains, cars and animals!
Cohen loves all of his little Disney figurines and knows exactly who they are and how they relate to each other.
The other day we were watching "Home Alone" and he saw Kevin's mom. I said that's Kevin's mommy and he points at me and says, "Cohen's Mommy" I thought it was good how he made the connection.
He does not like to be yelled at and will usually burst out in tears, even though he hardly gets in trouble.
He is a very sweet boy and a pretty good listener. He picks up his toys and cleans up if he makes a mess.
Cohen will wake up in the morning and I will ask him what he wants to eat. He will look at me with a smirk on his face and say, "Candy?" no candy "Cookies?" no cookies "Sucker?" no sucker. He then usually settles with oatmeal, pancakes or french toast. He also loves yogurt, toast, hot dogs, applesauce, fruit and hashbrowns.
He will usually ask to do something, before he does it. Like he will ask us if he can touch it. He dosn't always listen, but at least he asks! It's a start!
He will say please, thank you, sorry, excuse me and I love you without being prompted! Of course, sometimes he needs prompting, but it is just the sweetest thing when he randomly says, "I love you" and gives me a hug!
Dancin' with Daddy!
Opening an early birthday present from when Aunty Mandy was here!
Cohen and his friend, Payton
Cohen and Aunty Mandy.
He always does such weird and random things with his toys! Makes us laugh!
Cohen at his 2nd Lakers game!
He was usually more interested in the dancers and their bellies than the game.
It was so hot in the arena that he cheeks got really rosy!
Such a sweetie!
Again, stacking his animals
And here are just a couple videos of him singing.. so stinking cute!
After i start the microphone again he starts singing Jingle Bells a little bit. :)
We love Cohen so much and are so proud of him! He is just an amazing little boy and we couldn't have asked for anything more!
Love, Katie
