Kempton: 8.5 months

I missed Kempton's 8 month update, but figured I would do a 8.5 month update, especially because we will be on vacation when he turns 9 months so I'll have to do a 9.5 month update after vacation. Anyway, Kempton has surely grown a lot in the past month and a half. Here's some info:

Kemp wears anywhere between 6-month and 12 month shirts and 6-9 month pants/ shorts. He has worn a couple 12 month pants but they are definitely a bit big!

He wears size 3 Pampers diapers

He loves bath time and splashing in the bath.

Kempton usually sleeps from 8ish until about 6:30

He has started eating regular food like carrots, bananas and toast. Ever since he stated eating food that he could pick up by himself, he has been less interested in being fed with a spoon.

He loves moving everywhere! He crawls quickly and pulls himself up on everything

He recently started clapping.

Kempton is calm and happy 98% of the time, possibly even 99% ;)

Kempton still loves playing with his brother and taking his toys...he can be somewhat of a bully actually!

He still just has his two teeth on the bottom.

Kempton lights up when he sees us when we pick him up from daycare

He's a pretty good sleeper and still usually wakes up happy!

He is a daddy's boy

 Cohen just threw a ball at Kemp's head and I'm pretty sure Kemp didn't even notice!

 

We just got back out family pictures from last weekend and though we haven't officially received them, I had to share this sweet picture of Kemp....

So in the video below Kempton kept bothering Cohen so I put Kemp at the other side of the room, which obviously did no good! I love how Cohen says shouts, "Kempy, Walk away!!"  And then Kemp just laughs and keeps crawling until he can take Cohen's toy! Stinker!

Florida Day 5: Epcot

Day 5 of our trip was spent at Epcot! Epcot is a very underrated park! There is a lot to do there. Rides, activities and lots of characters to meet. Plus, they have some different and great food to eat.

When we got there, we got fastpasses for Test Track and then everyone besides me and the kids went on Soarin'. I was just going to hang out and walk around with the kids, but when I walked past the Character Spot and there was no wait I decided to venture in there with the boys.  It was a little hectic with both of them alone, but not as bad as I thought it would be and we managed to get some decent pictures!

While still waiting for them to get off Soarin'  we headed to Innoventions. We decided to try "The Great Piggy Bank Adventure" which is suppose to teach children  about saving money for the future. Cohen was just obsessed with the piggy bank!

You carry around this pig and try to save money by playing different games and doing different activities.

Eventually, everyone else caught up with us and tried to save some money with their pig ;)

No worries. We came back to the Piggy Bank Adventures later in the day so there are more pictures to come, but for now, on to walk around the countries at Epcot. First stop, Mexico to meet Donald!

Meeting Snow White. Cohen was so concerned about her eating an apple! And then as we were in line to meet her Tyson ate an apple and he was very concerned for Tyson! Cohen never wanted to talk to the characters but would talk up a storm before we met them and after we did!

We made it all the way around to France and waited in line to meet Belle. Cohen was very disappointed that you could no longer meet Beast there. You can only meet him at the "Be Our Guest" restaurant in Magic Kingdom. :(

Of course, he found a puddle while waiting!

It was raining, but Cohen's Zurg toy had a nice umbrella. Ha!

I know I have said this before, but I love the special character meet and greet for Disney Visa card holders! You don't get to see who is in the room to meet before and since not it is not open to everyone and many don't know about it, you are able to spend some quality time with the characters.  This time it was Minnie and Goofy in the room. 

We have some better pictures and whole group picture on the Disney photopass that I will share later.

After that per Cohen's request it was back to.....

And that wraps up a pretty long and exhausting, but very fun day!! There also a lot that isn't captured in pictures. Like eating Orange Chicken in China and meeting up with Dan's former co-worker, Lauren and more! :)
