Nationals Baseball game

I had this post sitting in my drafts and never posted it so I updated it and here you go! We spent the summer at lots of Nationals games. The boys absolutely going to the games. We joined the Nats Kids MVP club this year. It was $20 for each kid, but such a great deal! They got so much free stuff and buy one, get one free ticket offers. I was just really impressed at how great of a deal it was! Anyway, here are pictures from one of the games we went to this summer!

A video of them watching the players warm up

Dodgers hat..sheesh!
Free hot dog, with the MVP membership!

One of their favorite parts is the Presidents Race! Cohen always wants Abe to win!

The boys loved the game and loved cheering for the Nationals. On select Sunday games kids get to run around the bases after the game. Parents are not allowed on the field and kids are supposed to be from ages 4-12.  Cohen was so excited to do it, but I could tell he was nervous. As we were walking in the stadium in a very long line, I heard a dad behind us tell his kids, "make sure you touch all the bases or you'll be out." Suddenly, Cohen didn't want to do it anymore and it was because he was now worried about getting out! Ugh! I assured him that there was nothing that he had to worry about...all he had to do was RUN, which he is very good at. As we were approaching the area where you walk onto the field he was still nervous. Suddenly, Kempton just took off and starting running so Cohen followed him. We did it a couple other times this summer and they both LOVE it.

Here are a couple videos of them running the bases. It is so hard to get a decent video, as you can see! They are rushing the parents along and it's a bit chaotic!

Here's Cohen flying on in and Kemp holding up a traffic jam, because he wanted to give every President a high five! :)

We are going to the Nats WinterFest in a couple weeks, which should hopefully be fun for the boys! We're all excited for next season!

Love,
