What's on TV?

Can you guess what these two are watching?!

Did you guess?

Do you want me to tell you?

I'm not sure you're even trying...

Just scrolling down for the answer, huh?

Maybe I won't tell you....

Ok...they are watching the Daytona 500. Did you guess it right? Little buddy is saying, "car" if you didn't get it! :)

Cohen now points to and says, "Elmo" too! What a little sponge, aye?

T-Wolves Game in DC

A few weeks after we got back from our trip to Minnesota for Christmas we went to the MN Timberwolves vs. Washington Wizards basketball game in DC. The game was on Sunday afternoon so it worked out  perfectly for Cohen.
Dad and Cohen on the Metro.

Waiting for the game to start.

Cohen didn't have any T-Wolves gear so he wore his University of Minnesota shirt that he got from Uncle Tom!

Our view...right in front of the cheerleaders...can you guess who picked out the seats?! Just kidding! This was our view though.

Dan and I got some Chili nachos and Cohen ate a lot of our chili! Then he drank a bottle and fell asleep. It's so unusual for him to fall asleep like that. Especially because it was so loud at the game.

Apparently some thought the game was a real snooze!

We had a lot of fun at the game and Cohen did really well! And the Timberwolves won!

Chattin' with Cohen

Cohen is just amazing.  He is sweet and funny. Smart and silly.  And just awesome!
He is such a happy little boy!

Here is a video of him saying "baby" and pointing to his nose...(we'll close enough..he gets the concept!)

He loves grabbing our hand and pulling us different places to show us something or if he wants something. He usually pulls me to the refrigerator if he wants milk. Here he is pulling Dan to the kitchen because he wants a snack.

He here he is saying "apple"! I was shocked when he said this! I was feeding him apple sauce and telling him what it was and he said "apple"!  He also says "car" and "baby" in the video. He also knows what a car and a baby is but I don't think he knows what apples are! He just learned the word tonight so we'll see!
(Please don't mind his mismatched jammies....)

He does a lot of other things that I don't get videos of...
so you should just come see him for yourself! ;)

14 Months

14 Months!!!

Height: Not sure until we go back to the doctor next month

Weight 23.4 lbs

Diapers: Size 4

Clothes: Shirts: 12-18 months and Pants: 12 months. Most 18 month pants are huge on him, but some 12 month pants are short. I'm hoping he grows into this stuff before it gets too warm out..or maybe it will fit him in the fall?

He can say the following words: ball, mom, Daddy, puppy, baby, no, more, all done, bath

He repeats or tries to repeat a lot of what we say. Some that I can think of right now are: car, cookie, nice, and ready, set, go! (he mumbles the "ready" and the "set" and then yells "GO!")

He can do the sign language for "More", "milk" and "please"

Says "hi" and waves (to random people)

Say "bye bye" and waves when we all get our coats on!

Takes directions very well like "put it in the trash", "sit down"....etc

He usually goes to bed between 7:15 - 7:45 and wakes up between 5:15 - 6:30. This weekend he got up at 5:15 and just cuddled with me on the couch and watched cartoons. So sweet!

Gives kisses

Loves to dance

He is kind of picky about eating, sometimes not eating his favorites, but generally he loves spaghetti, ravioli, pancakes, bananas, and peas

No more bottles!

He has another tooth pushing through which will make 13 teeth!

He always has one of his blankets with him in the car. When we are riding and the car and we stop and turn off the car, he will throw his blanket off of him and wait for us to come get him.

Often when I sit on the floor he will push me over and trying jumping on me, to which Dan yells, "GET HER!" Aren't you suppose to be wresting with him?? Haha!

He can point to his nose, when we ask him where his nose is. He can point to mom and dad's too.

He loves playing in the refrigerator and in the cupboards...taking things out and putting them back (sometimes puts things back!)

He still likes to help with laundry.

He does pretty well playing with his toys on his own and looking at books by himself.

Dad says no to a hair cut, but it's getting pretty long and really crazy when he wakes up....

Yes, that is all natural! :)

Here are a couple more recent pictures...more to come some other day!

 Watching  cartoons at Gymboree

Loves balloons and pretends everything is a chair

Thanks to Jeff, Mandy, Hannah, and Tyson for Cohen's new shirt!

Take out all of the cans and put your toys in...of course, right?

It's a little blurry, but makes me laugh

Look at him standing in the pool!

He just looks so grown up...

And a short video....

Melts your heart...doesn't it!?!? :)

Cutest Alarm Clock

Every morning around 7:15 am we leave our apartment and every morning Cohen feels the need to yell all the way down the hallway! I think he likes to hear his echo. I feel a little bad for our neighbors, but it's just so cute.

Airport Fun

Every airport should have a place for kids to play. To release some energy before they get on the plane. Thankfully, the Minneapolis airport has that, and we had some extra time before our flight back to Maryland.

Do you think he'll be an astronaut when he grows up??

 Or a bus driver?

Look at my good little bus driver...

"Ok, I got one more spot"- Cohen

"Hey you kids! Sit down! Be Quiet!"

Well..ok...Not sure bus driving is his thing. We'll just stick to being a kid for now!

Cohen did so good on the little playground. I'm not sure why I was surprised, but I was surprised! Check out this video of him playing!

Visit with Cousins

While we were in Minnesota, my cousin Tim, his wife Stacy, and their kids..Casey, Alex, Krysta, Chelsea and Charlie stopped by for a visit.  Their youngest son, Charlie, is just one day older than Cohen so it was fun to see them play together. I was just thinking about how much I saw Tim and the rest of my cousins when my brothers and I were younger. Birthday parties, holidays, and just hanging out. We always had so much fun and definitely made some good memories.

Chelsea, Caysen and Krysta...I guess I didn't get a picture of Alex :(

So fun to see you guys! Thanks for stopping by!
