Here is a delayed update on our 15 month old!
Height: 31 inches (50th percentile)
Weight: 23lbs 1oz (50th percentile)
Diapers: Size 4 Pampers
Clothes: 12-18 month pants and 12-24 month shirts
Food: Kempton LOVES fruit! Bananas are his favorite, but he also loves blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, oranges/clementines and grapes. He also loves chicken nuggets but lately hasn't been touching foods that he used to eat (just as the doctor predicted at this age)
Kempton also loves cheese. I bought some "cracker cuts" which is just slices of block cheese. He will go to the fridge and grab out the container, walk to the living room and sit down and ask us to open it....All. The. Time! Haha.
Words: Dada, Mama, Thank you, banana, more, milk, belly, bye bye, hi, mickey, book ( you may not understand them necessarily....except for nana for banana!)
Kempton loves dancing and clapping to the music
He likes to watch the shows, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Sheriff Callie's Wild West
Kempton loves being a little helper. He likes to help with laundry and cooking in the kitchen
He likes playing with trains, stacking blocks, playing with annimals and cars.
Kempton loves to play with anything anyone else is playing with and gets quite aggressive if he wants it. We are working on saying please if he wants something... :)
He loves his bus slide that he got for Christmas and loves slides at the park.
He really just loves being outside doing anything...walks, playing with a ball, etc.
Kemp loves to run and pretend to scare you
Kemp can point to his nose and mouth when asked to
He LOVES to look at books and will often grab a book and sit down in our laps
He gives the best hugs! :)
He has the biggest, cutest smile and still wakes up happy. He never cries when he gets up. He will just talk until someone comes to get him.
He likes to use a spoon or fork to eat and is pretty good at it!
Pretending to be Ironman
Kempton absolutely loves his big brother. Melts my heart... :)
Kempton is fearless...(eek!)
I felt so bad because I put their books in the corner where Kempton couldn't really reach them and I didn't even realize it. I moved it now, and Kempton LOVE picking out books to look at.
:)
Kemp still loves bath time!
Pajama day at daycare!
LOVE!
So this is what happens when I take a shower (not all the time)....
Our little ninja in training....
Dan was having a conversation with Cohen in their room and Kempton was upset that he was left out and concerned that Cohen was crying and upset. Sweet buddy.
Hanging out at the mall
Looking out the window at Daddy!
Kempton's favorite book
I posted these pictures other places but think it is hilarious. Cohen and Kemp just got new electronic toothbrushes. Cohen was showing Kempton how to use it.....
...then Kempton did this! Haha. He obviously didn't catch on right away.
And some videos......
Giggling and playing with Cohen...
Kemp playing... I love how Cohen says "Kempton is too busy" after Kemp ignores me! haha
A little bit of Kemp's latest dance move...the side step
And a little more side stepping and a little butt shakin' at the end. ;)
Kempton is
growing up so quickly and learning so many new things. I know that this
is going to be a fun and exciting summer and this kiddo will keep us
busy!!
Love,
Katie
