Laken- 4 Months

Laken is 4 months old! Its crazy how much babies change in just 4 months. I know that he is nearly 5 months! I wrote all of this when he was 4 months, but I didn't get a chance to get the pictures up until today!

Height: 25 3/4 inches (70th percentile)

Weight: 14lbs 3 oz (20th percentile)

Diapers: Pampers Size 2

Clothes: 3 month are getting a bit small, so he usually wears 3-6 and 6 month onsies and smaller shorts.

Feedings: He eats 4 oz about every 3-4 hours but usually 6oz in the morning and at night

Sleeping: He usually goes to bed around 8 or 8:30 and get up around 5:30 or 6.

Nicknames: Lake, Lakes, Lake Dogg and Kempton likes to call him Buddy

He likes to hold blankets and play with them

He is very attentive to everything going on around him. He loves watching his brothers play

Laken started daycare this month and seems to be doing well! He did have diarrhea at school and was sent home. He couldn't return until it was cleared up so he stayed home 2 more days. Other than that he's been pretty healthy. 

He can roll over from his back to his tummy, but not from his tummy to back yet.

He lights up when people talk to him!

He is just the sweetest little munchkin! 

In August we went to the beach at the Outer Banks in North Carolina with Jeff, Mandy, Hannah, and Tyson and Mandy's family. We went to the beach a couple times but spent most of our time in the pool at the house where we stayed. It was a nice vacation before I went back to work.

Laken does not like cousin, Hannah! Just kidding! He totally loves her and she feels the same towards him! :)

I love that his daycare post his entire day including some pictures on an app. It is nice to be informed of what is going on while we are at work. Plus I get cute pictures like the one above!

Baseball- Cohen

Cohen started T-Ball this year. We went to the first practice in April and he sat on the side and cried. The only thing he participated in was walking up to get his jersey. I knew that he loved baseball and he knows what to do so I think he was just nervous around all of the new people. At that first practice the kids decided that their team name would be Orioles. 

A few days later Cohen had his first game. We were so nervous that he would cry and not participate and once he gets in that mood there is no talking him out of it!

He definitely seemed ready to play!

Cohen's first time batting at the game. He did awesome! He was a bit nervous but he did it! In this league there are no "outs" as they are just learning the basics of the game. Every kid gets to hit the ball and run to first. Then run to second after the next kid hits, and then eventually running to home.

As the season progressed, he did better and better. He was still always nervous, but always participated and never cried. He said that he had fun and is excited for next year. He liked his teammates even though I don't even believe that he ever talked to them! Haha! Here are some more pictures and videos from his baseball season

As you may have notice, Kempton was able to play with Cohen for a few games at the end of the season. I'll do another post about Kempton's baseball adventures! Anyway, we are super excited to watch Cohen play again next year!
