I can't believe that our little Laken is 6 months old. He has changed and grown so much this past month! We just had his appointment last weekand here are his stats:
Height: 27 3/4in (88th percentile)
Weight: 15 lbs 14 oz (17th Percentile)
Head: 43.3 cm (45th Percentile)
He wears size 2 diapers, but I think we'll switch to size 3 the next time we buy diapers.
He wears mostly 6 months or 6-9 month clothes.
Laken has one tooth!
He is now sitting up! He can be a bit wobbly at times, but he is pretty good for the most part.
He no longer uses a pacifier.
We started sleep training this past month. We read Laken a story and then lay him down in his crib awake. He then puts himself asleep. Since we've started this, he does much better sleeping through the night because if he wakes up in the middle of the night he can put himself back to sleep. The first couple nights we did it he cried a bit, but it wasn't too bad. It seemed horrible with Cohen! Maybe it really was worse with Cohen, or maybe I don't feel as bad now that I realize how it ultimately helps him and us!
He usually goes to bed around 7-7:30 and wakes up around 5:30-6am.
We started solids occasionally, but not consistently. We will do solids every evening this month as we introduce them slowly.
Laken loves bath time!
He loves watching people, especially his brothers.
He is now giggling and smiles lots!
Laken had his first airplane ride just before he turned 6 months old.

He would probably not sit still very long like this with Dan or me, but he loves just hanging out with his brothers.

Laken got Pink Eye this past month. He was a trooper and still in good spirits, but couldn't go to school until it was cleared up!

We took a late flight so he would fall asleep and thank goodness he did. It's hard to keep a 6 month old entertained that long on an airplane.
He was wide awake when we got to Grammy and Grampy's house though!
