Happy Birthday sweet Laken!!!
It is hard to believe that he has already been a part of our family for a year! We have loved watching you learn and grow the past year.
Here are his Stats:
Height:30.5 inchies (74th Percentile)
Weight: 21lbs(44th Percentile)
Head: 45.8 cm (41st Percentile)
He wears size 4 Pampers and size 12 month clothes.
He has 4 teeth: 2 on the bottom and 2 on the top
He can say baba (bottle), ba (ball) mama, dada and hi and says those things when he see them! :) When we facetime or skype with people he will say hi and wave. So sweet!
Laken waves bye and blows kisses.
He doesn't walk yet but climbs on everything! He loves climbing up our stairs. He's a quick crawler and often "walks" on his knees. He cruises along furniture.
He generally goes to sleep around 8pm and sleeps until around 7. He is usually the first one to go to bed and the last one up (besides Dan!)
Laken is such a happy little guy and he's super funny...we think so anyway!
He will grab a little basketball and repeatedly say "ball" and point to the basketball hoop until we lift him up to shoot it in the hoop.
He eats almost anything. His favorites are pizza, chicken nuggets, eggs, bananas, and grilled cheese. He will sometimes fuss because he wants to eat his food off of a fork.
Laken is now drinking whole milk out of spoutless sippy cup. It's pretty fancy :) I'm just happy the transition from bottles went so well. Sometimes it is harder for parents than it is for kids!
I do exist! Ha. We were at a dinner for Cohen and Kempton's baseball team and Laken really enjoyed listening to the coach talk and waving to Daddy as he was standing up front.

Easter morning
The Easter bunny brought him tennis balls!
Laken's birthday celebration! About this pink balloon....there were left over balloons at the place where the boys had their party with their friends. We brought two balloons home, the strings came off and they had been up in the ceiling of our loft. It ended up floating down the morning of Laken's birthday...pretty cool. There is still another balloon in the loft.
We bought him a chair for baseball games
