Maryland Zoo

We are officially members of the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore! We even bought the membership that allows us to bring in a guest for free...if anyone ever wants to join us! Anyway, I am beyond excited that we bought a membership because I really like this zoo. It small but still has a lot of animals. I do love the National zoo in DC  but it can be a bit overwhelming and you leave feeling completely pooped out!

Anyway, here are some pictures from our trip there this weekend.

My favorite part of the Maryland Zoo is the giraffe feeding station. We were happy that there was one giraffe there who was hungry! :) Cohen wouldn't hold the leaves out for the giraffe to eat, but thought that it was pretty funny when dad fed the giraffe!

I took pictures the first time they fed the giraffe and a video the second...

Cohen's favorite animal was the elephant. He was asking to see the elephants from the second we walked into the zoo! And then wanted to see more elephants....

Checking out the carousel.

During the first half of the zoo Cohen was calm and either sat in his stroller or was carried. One cookie and we had a wild man on our hands! He started running everywhere!

Our little turtle!

Dan and Cohen on the carousel. We were reluctant to take him on there because the last carousel ride we took him on didn't go well, but he loved this one. Cohen waved to me almost every time they went around.

Definitely hard to get a decent picture when they are zooming by!

Overall, we had a fun day at the zoo!

Love,
Katie
