Last weekend we headed to the Fall Festival to pick out pumpkins and do some fun activities at Homestead Gardens. We have gone to this place the last 2 or 3 years and usually have a pretty good time.
One of the Cohen's favorite thing is the hay bale maze. Kempton was able to enjoy it this year without Mom and Dad walking with him.
Cohen was pretty happy that he was able to make it out
Kemp's happy dance after he made it out!
Next we took a hay ride to the pumpkin patch.
We walked around the entire pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin that they wanted.
They thought that any pumpkin that was smashed or rotten was absolutely hilarious!
Especially Cohen!
Cohen went to look at this pumpkin and this is what he discovered, which, of course, he thought was super funny!
Kemp found a smashed pumpkin too!
Such a happy little guy!
They found their pumpkins!
Once you pick out your pumpkin you get a name tag to write your name on and then you put in a box. Then the employees bring it up to the front where you pick it up on the way out. It's nice too because all of the pumpkins are $5 so it isn't based on weight as usual!
After pumpkin picking it was off to the Jumping Pillow. Cohen was happy that he didn't get hurt this year! Haha. And we were happy that Kempton could do it all by himself (and didn't get hurt either)!
Somehow it went from Cohen trying to help Kemp to....
...Kemp tackling Cohen!
These two would have played there all day if we let them!
Overall it was a fun day! The weather was crisp but nice and the boys did a great job!
Love,
Katie
