Vikings Game

Last weekend Last month (I guess I forgot to post this!) we went to the Vikings game. We had fun even though they lost to the Redskins! We taught Cohen how to say, "Go Vikings" which he randomly shouted in the bathroom one time after I changed his diaper. With his hands proudly in the air might I add. Vikings were losing, but I loved his enthusiasm and his hope that they would come back.

Cohen really wanted to go down on the field! So hard to explain to him sometimes that some things you just can't do!

Cohen and Craig...a fellow long time Vikings fan as you can tell by his Fran Tarkenton jersey!

Cohen and mommy

Dan made me take a picture of RGIII

Someone looks like they are up to trouble!

Cohen and cousin, Christina sitting by the desserts. Cohen kept sneaking more and taking just one or two bites out of it. Just like his dad...except for the one or two bites thing!

Trying on Daddy's hat....took me awhile to get a decent picture and even my decent picture isn't very good.

:)

I think this might be my "decent" picture!

Another family picture

Cohen loved playing with his football while at the game.

He kept throwing it around even when everyone else left and it was just me, Cohen, and my not-so-happy husband! Oh he'll get over it! :)

Here's a video from when we got home...it was the best I could get...he was so sleepy.

Zoo Boooo

Last Saturday we ventured to the Maryland Zoo to go to Zoo Boooo. It was a free event with our membership so why not!? At the zoo you have to take a tram from the main entrance to the area with all the animals so we did that first. Then we hit the Halloween stuff, which was by the main entrance, on the way back.

Cohen didn't really want to wear his costume, but was ok once we eventually got it on him. We put on his monster feet first...

Then got the rest of it on. He wouldn't wear his hat. I'm guessing because it is too big for even me! He is dressed as Mike Wazowski from Monster's Inc.

Isn't he just the cutest little monster?! :)

Here is a picture of Mike in case you don't know who he is!

I went to the bathroom and after was looking for Dan and Cohen. The bright green monster wasn't too hard to spot!

They had tortoises out in the open field for people to see. There was, of course, a zoo staff member there as well.

Feeding a giraffe...missed the picture. Oops!

Walking with Mommy

Cohen waiting to watch the elephants smash some pumpkins.

Elephant grabbing the pumpkin

He's about to smash it then eat it...wasn't quite as exciting as they hyped it up to be!

The chimpanzees were crazy! They were swinging everywhere and one even ran up to the glass and hit it really hard!
Riding the train..Cohen was pretty excited!

Trying to catch a smile and got a fishy face instead!

Haha...not sure what he is doing here. He was talking and pointing things out the whole train ride

On the tram ride back to the main area. He was getting pretty sleepy.

The second he got that costume off he was a mad man! Running everywhere. He did sit down and enjoy a sucker...

..but then was back up and RUNNING!

Our day in nutshell... :)
