Great Aunty Joyce!

Last week Cohen's Great Aunty Joyce came to visit! She works with Delta Airlines and had a layover in DC (finally!) It was so great to see her and we were so excited that she finally got to meet Cohen. We met her at her hotel, hung out and ate dinner.  In the few short hours that we were together she got to see many sides of Cohen.

 He just woke up and was still a little sleepy.

 Starting to wake up! We ate dinner at this cool restaurant at the top of the hotel. It rotated and had a great view of DC. (The sandwiches could have used more Pesto though, right Joyce!?)

Mr. Photogenic is sometimes Mr. Not-So-Photogenic

I had a co-worker recently say something along the lines of, "Cohen is smiling in every picture I see." Well, folks, believe it or not, that is not always the case. Here are some of our sweet baby's not so flattering pictures. He is still pretty stinkin' cute though...at least I think so! Enjoy (It's ok to laugh at him a little bit).

6 Months

Wow! Cohen is one half of a year old! I seriously can't believe how quickly the first 6 months have gone by. He is so much fun and is changing so much everyday.

Here are his stats!

• Height: 27 inches (75th percentile)
• Weight: 17 lbs 4 oz (50th percentile)
• Diapers: Size 3 (just changed to those a couple days ago)
• Clothes: He still fits in to some 3 month clothes! Mostly wears 6 month or 6-9. He still has these pair of 3-6 month shorts that are too big in the waist. Baby clothes are just like adult clothes...it depends on the brand!
• Food: He is getting better everyday with eating his cereal and baby food. He has had the following: apples, bananas, peaches, green beans, and sweet potatoes.  I have other new foods for him to try but we are introducing them slowly.

Some more things about Cohen...

• He can sit up on his own
• Loves his jumper!
• Love going outside for walks. He just soaks everything in.
• He is a flirt! We actually just got back from a quick run to the grocery store (3 items) and in that short time 4 women came up and said hi to him and he just turned on the charm! 3 of them said he had quite the personality. :)
• Loves splashing in the bath.
• Goes to bed on his own. 
• Sleeps through the night occasionally, but not consistently.
• Usually takes 2-3 naps a day 
• Still has just two teeth
• Loves to smile and laugh
• Loves to cuddle with Daddy. ( Dan said something like "He likes to cuddle with me, but play with you, because you do weird things" haha. It's true. I make up songs, dance, make weird noises, the list goes on....)
• Likes to stare at people
• Likes to kick his legs like crazy
• Likes anything that isn't a toy (cell phones, remotes, camera, etc) haha

That's all I can think of for now!
