Trip to Michigan

Back in January Dan, Cohen and I went to Michigan to visit some friends.  I had been trying to plan a trip there and when Southwest had a sale for $35 each way we knew we had to take advantage of the deal. We went to see my friend, Kristen, who was my roommate when I was on the Disney College Program, her fiance and their puppy, Liberty. We also visited Dan's roommate from his Disney  College Program, Joe, and some other friends, Lisa and Kory. Kristen and Jon were getting married and Mexico and we picked that weekend so I could go to the bridal shower and Dan could go to the bachelor party, since we weren't able to go to Mexico. It was an exhausting weekend, but we all had a lot of fun! We are actually going back to Michigan this week for Kristen and Jon's wedding reception. :)

Dan, Cohen and Liberty. Liberty has a lot of energy, which was a bit much for Cohen. He was scared of her, but then when Liberty would leave him alone and lay down Cohen would go over and tap her on the head! Stinker!

The bridal shower was at a church, and it had a nice nursery play area. It was so nice for Cohen to have space to run around in. It helped keep me sane. :)

After the shower Dan and I went to spend the night at Joe's. Our friends Lisa and Kory came over to hang out too. Lisa gave Cohen a present that he actually opened! :)

And again..we are eating...this time we are eating at bd's Mongolian Grill... I feel like all we did was eat! :)

And back on the airplane to Maryland! Imagining what it would be like if Cohen had his own seat on the plane. It would be nice, but definitely not worth paying for! Well. Maybe! :)

Ohh...the excitement!!

We had such a great time in Michigan. Thank you to everyone for letting us stay with you, using your car, using your pack-n-play, eating your food, going out to eat with us, and  hanging out with us! We are so thankful to have great friends and can't wait to visit again!
