Day 2 of Grandma's visit we went to the Children's Museum in Baltimore. We had never been there before, but we had a good time. There were a some things that Cohen was too young for or didn't quite "get" but there were plenty of things that kept him busy!
Cohen cookin' some up some stuff in the diner!
Crawling through a tunnel...
Driving a big truck...
The truck doesn't seem so big anymore, aye? A little small for Mommy.
Cohen loved the water room. They had rain jackets the kids could wear but Cohen wouldn't wear it.
Grandma and Mommy got a a break in the room because Cohen just played a lot on his own.
The next room was a quiet room with lots of books and toys that you could just sit down and play with. Cohen had fun after the crazy woman who worked there stopped her story time routine. I think that it was the fact that she came out singing loudly right when we walked in that scared Cohen. Haha!
In the center of the museum, there is a giant play place. It has cargo nets and slides and tunnels and goes up 3 stories. Cohen was too small to do most of it but he could run through a few of the parts. The picture below is from this, and there are a few more a little later in this post.
Feeding some random cows...
This was the little grocery shopping store area. He had some fun shopping!
Playing in the train area...
Here he is playing in the toddler area.
And here he is again in the 3 story play place...right before he fell after running way too fast!
So I bet you are wondering if we had a chance to eat lunch while we were there...ok so you probably weren't wondering about that at all, but I though I would bring it up anyway. For lunch we left the museum for a 3 minute walk to Panera, where Cohen was completely out of control! Would not eat his food, and would not sit there. And of course, it was so crowded! We ate as quickly as we could and headed back tot he museum to play! We played for a little longer before heading home because I was one exhausted Mommy!
Thanks Grandma for coming to the museum with us and for having so much fun with Cohen!
Love,
Katie
