Cohen is learning so much in school and its so fun to watch him learn and grow.
He can count to 100 and write all the numbers to 100. He sometimes has a hard time with writing 5s backwards.
Cohen knows all of his letter sounds and is starting to learn how to read.
He can write all of his letters but sometimes has troubles with d, b, s, a, w and m.
He loves to draw pictures- especially of Ninja Turtles and the Avengers
He is still sensitve and does not like to get in trouble
He likes to play by himself, but also gets along very well with others, including his brother, most of the time.
He loves Nationals and is still obsessed with Bryce Harper
He likes to play video games, especially, Disney Infinity and is quite good
Cohen likes to watch Lion Guard, Avengers, Lego Star Wars, Ninja Turtles, Spider Man and Peppa Pig
He wants to name is new baby brother Cohen Jr. (HAHA)
He really wanted the baby to be a girl, so he could marry her! I explained that he couldn't do that anyway!
He is so excited to meet his baby brother and loved seeing him on the ultrasound recently
He has a hard time making decisions. He will often tell me to pick. I encourage him to pick, but sometimes I will pick something and he will tell me "no" and pick what he wants!
He is pretty shy, but is getting more and more brave.
He did awesome at his 5 year check up. He talked to the doctor. He did everything he needed to do. He didn't cry about anything.
Cohen still wets his pull-up most nights so I brought it up to our pediatrician. She wasn't concerned and said that 5-10% do that at this age. She said there isn't anything we can really do about it, but the worst thing that we can do is make him feel bad about it (we don't do that). Her words and lack of conern made me feel better. I felt as though we had done something wrong or she should be doing something differently.

Cohen enjoys looking at books and "reading" them to us.
He loves pretending to be superheros like Avengers, Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers.

He still loves animals. Playing with animal toys, watching them at the zoo and pretending to be them.
He likes to eggs and toast, yogurt with blueberries, chicken nuggets and oatmeal.
Here are some pictures:
Zip lining at a birthday party
Making Thanksgiving treats
On his birthday visit to the Mall of America. He kind of wanted to ride the mini-bumper cars, but then freaked out a bit when he got buckled in! He ended up getting out and not doing it.
Cooking baking at Christmas....he did more eating and playing than anything else!
He was so excited to eat the snow in Minnesota!
He kind of likes dogs, but generally prefers that they keep their distance. He did a good job with Archie though. Probably because he is a bit small. :)
On his 5th birthday at the Mall of America
He loved painting his Dinosaur at Color Me Mine.
All done painting! He was so proud!
The finished product (with Kempton's). Cohen named his dinosaur Blue Jr.
Playing a video game with his cousin, Keaton.
His first time sledding!
Cohen and Kemp meeting Bryce Harper and Trea Turner from the Nationals.
Cohen loved running the bases at Natsfest and will be ready for baseball this spring!
He loves playing baseball and would probably play everday if he could
Cohen's crazy Elf picture. He made this face for a picture at school and they keep using it for all of his projects...haha.
Opening up some presents on his birthday.
Cohen loved all things Christmas as usual! I think his favorite was decorating the tree!
Making an outfit at Grampy's shop
The birthday cake that he picked out...Jungle Buddies :)
This pretty much sums up Cohen's favorites....his cousins and Ninja Turtles! :)
Cohen and his cousin, Caysen!
I spiked up his hair in the bath and took a picture. In this picture he had no idea what it looked liked and then I turned the camera around so he could see it and this was his reaction....
Haha!
Cohen showing us what he has to do at school when his job is being the "Flag Holder" Although, drop offs can still be a bit hard, I really do think that he enjoys school and seeing his friends.
Some Saturday mornings are spent playing a video game toghether in jammies. Cohen does a pretty good job helping his brother and teaching him things.
Eating snow
Cohen loves playing in the snow!
Cohen after daddy gave him a hair cut!
Cohen helping his little brother get his jacket zipped. Such a good helper!
Cohen made this at school..."can you guess what it is?" Well, if you guessed a broken leg you would be correct! Haha.. really? He's a strange kid sometimes!
Cohen's rocketship. He had to build something out of a cardboard box and that's what he wanted. I helped him build it and he painted it.
Well, I am sure I missed some things as usual, but I hope this will help us remember what he was like at this age. I hope every day that he continues to grow up to be the sweet, kind boy that he is now. I am constantly proud of him! We love him so much!
Love,
Katie
